About International College of Management

The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) is an award-winning educational institution with campuses located in the business districts of Manly and Sydney. Established in 1996, ICMS is a leader in high-quality, career-oriented higher education, offering programmes recognised and regulated as at Australian public universities. ICMS is home to international students from over 60 countries.

Study options

ICMS offers students a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees that prepare them to be leaders in their fields. All study options share a business and management info core covering areas required for any professional career. Students can choose from several specialisations at ICMS.

All degrees on offer combine an academic foundation with compulsory industry experience to help equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in today’s competitive global job market.

Undergraduate study

Pathway programs

In partnership with the International Sports College of Australia (ISCA) and the Aspire Institute, ICMS shares campus facilities for those studying pathway programmes. Upon successful completion of their pathway programmes at ISCA and Aspire, students can progress to higher studies at ICMS.

How to apply

Step 1

Students must choose the study option they want to pursue at ICMS.

Step 2

Students must check the entry requirements for the study option they choose. On failing to meet the entry requirements, students can choose to apply for study options at the Aspire Institute which provides pathways to ICMS degree programmes.

Step 3

Students may submit the online application form to ICMS directly or apply through education agents.

Step 4

Students must produce all supporting documents related to their study.

Step 5

Once the application is processed, ICMS will offer students a letter of offer or conditional admission if the application is successful. Students may also need to submit further supporting documentation if required.

Step 6

A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) will be issued if:

  • Conditions of entry are met
  • The required sections in the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) form are completed while meeting the Genuine Student (GS) and GTE requirements.
  • The acceptance of offer and written agreement are signed and dated
  • Deposit of fee payment is done
  • The CoE form is completed

Student life

ICMS is more of a community than a college to students. ICMS offers students a more personalised learning experience, with its students and staff well-connected. The Student Success Centre provides students with academic support through its learning advisors, who can help with English language and academic support.

ICMS also cares about its students’ emotional wellbeing and has a Wellness Team to assist with any personal support during their time at ICMS.

The student volunteers in the Peer Assisted Learning service offer students help to succeed academically.

Outside of classrooms, there are plenty of events, adventures, and parties for students to take part in for an enriching student experience. They can also participate in student-led clubs and societies and sports teams. In addition, the student experience team, with the help of the student representative council, organises student activities.

ICMS offers student-friendly accommodation that makes for an ideal way to immerse into student life.

Teaching quality

Students will learn directly from academics who are experienced at an international level. Its teaching faculty have held positions such as marketing and sales directors, financial analysts, destination marketers, CEOs, management consultants and corporate trainers. There are also guest speakers covering the latest industry insights and sharing their management and business strategies.
